Brandon Landry (BS Management, ’01) founded Walk-On's Bistreaux & Bar — named the No. 1 brand in Entrepreneur's prestigious 2020 Top New Franchises Ranking and ESPN's No. 1 Sports Bar in America. The restaurant is one of the fastest growing restaurant concepts in America with more than 60 locations across the Southeast United States and another 12 opening in the next year.

Rose Hudson

Rose Hudson (Master of Public Administration ’89): President and CEO, Louisiana Lottery Corporation. Under Hudson’s leadership, the Louisiana Lottery ranks among the top U.S. lotteries in percentage of revenue transferred to its government.

 

 Safia Diab

Safia Diab (BS Marketing, ’05): Senior Manager, Partnership Activation, San Francisco 49ers. Entering her 11th season with the San Francisco 49ers, Diab successfully builds, executes, and manages marketing campaigns, social and digital media assets, gameday activations, and community events for multiple corporate partners of the team.

Laust Helmig

Laust Helmig (BS Economics, ’11): Vice President - Private Wealth Advisor, Goldman Sachs. Helmig is also an alum of the LSUCIA program, where he earned the IIA Student Highest Achievement Award.

Tracey Porter

Tracy Porter (BS Finance, ’83): President and CEO of Premiere Solutions & chairman of the NFL Alumni Association. During his five-year career in the NFL, Porter used his time in the off-seasons to establish a private sector business career. He’s seen success in various sectors and is an advocate for diverse governance.

The LSU E. J. Ourso College of Business has long been at the forefront of producing leaders who make significant contributions to the areas of business, academia, government, and the community at large. Since 1996, the college has honored individuals who have a strong association with the college and have distinguished themselves through their professional and civic achievements earning a place in the E. J. Ourso College of Business Hall of Distinction.

How Lauren Grant Mitchell (MBA '17) found success in the world of management consulting.

LSU announces the company rankings for the 12th annual LSU 100 and LSU ROARING 10. The LSU 100 celebrates the 100 fastest growing LSU graduate-owned or LSU graduate-led businesses in the world.

The American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) awarded William "Bill" Balhoff CPA/CFF, CGMA, with the 2022 AICPA Gold Medal Award of Distinction at the fall meeting of AICPA's governing council.
