Teaching a small group of students

LSU Vet Med uses a variety of teaching modalities, including problem-based learning and clinical skills labs.

DVM Curriculum

To obtain your DVM, you must complete a four-year program. Our program is divided into Phase I and Phase II. Phase I consists of lectures and labs, including intensive instruction in comparative anatomy and a clinical skills lab. Phase II is the more hands-on instruction as you move into our Veterinary Teaching Hospital for your clinical rotations.
