Outside Counsel
The Office of Legal Affairs and General Counsel (OGC) is responsible for all legal matters arising from or pertaining to the operations of LSU institutions.
All requests to retain outside counsel must be submitted in writing to the OGC. All outside counsel contracts must be prepared by the OGC and submitted to the Office of the Louisiana Attorney General for approval. No outside counsel may be retained without prior written approval of the Office of the Louisiana Attorney General.
Outside Counsel Invoice Submission
Payment for legal services rendered by outside counsel must be in accordance with the approved outside counsel contract.
All invoices for outside counsel must be reviewed and approved by the Office Legal Affairs and General Counsel prior to payment.
