I am originally from Cary, North Carolina and most cities I have lived in also begin with the letter C (Charlotte, NC, Cullowhee, NC, Columbia, SC). I am the oldest of 2, and my little sister gave me the most incredible gift of becoming an aunt (which is my favorite title in life). I have been most impacted in my life by my parents who taught me that I can be anything I want to be. They also showed me that I am limitless by both being the first in their family to attend college and beyond that, both obtained their terminal degrees in their field. Along with leadership and service my passions include my faith, music, and warm chocolate chip cookies!

Favorite thing to do in Baton Rouge
So far, my favorite thing to do in Baton Rouge is walk the trail along the river. It is so peaceful and beautiful. Plus, it is always cool to see ships coming and going from the port.
