CORE Initiatives Trainings

LSU is an affiliate campus of the National Coalition Building Institute (NCBI), a proven leadership development program to reduce or eliminate bias, discrimination, controversy, and interpersonal conflict on campus. We offer "Welcome Diversity" and "Controversial Issues" workshops.

Through Safe Space Training, we want to identify and educate people who will affirm and support people of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and gender expressions, etc. with the goal to increase allyship.

This training is designed to help faculty search committees improve their functionality and to increase their diversity yield.
