LSU Transcript Request

Louisiana State University is now processing all transcript requests through a partnership with Parchment. New functionality allows all students, both current and former, to order transcripts 24/7 using Parchment. In addition, all students can now opt to receive transcripts by mail or via secure electronic delivery. This new online platform provides faster service, enhanced delivery options, and greater security of students' academic records.

Currently enrolled students can print a college record through their myLSU account. A College Record is a free, unofficial document that provides you with the same information that is found on the Transcript document. Information on requesting a College Record is available on GROK. If a user experiences a barrier due to a disability, please contact a transcript coordinator at 225-578-1686, transcripts@lsu.edu or in person at 112 Thomas Boyd Hall.

This ordering process is only able to issue transcripts for courses taken through the following campuses: LSU A&M - Baton Rouge, LSU Online, LSU Online and Distance Learning, LSU School of Veterinary Medicine, and the LSU Law Center.

This ordering process is not available for non-credit courses pursued through LSU’s Distance Learning Unit.

Louisiana State University has chosen Parchment as the designated agent for processing and sending official transcripts through an encrypted and secure service on behalf of the University.

To request a transcript, current and former students access the Parchment system through different portals. In each scenario, payment must be made by credit card. To use the system, follow the appropriate link below.

If a user experiences a barrier due to a disability, please contact a transcript coordinator at 225-578-1686, transcripts@lsu.edu or in person at 112 Thomas Boyd Hall.

Pick up is available in the University of the Registrar's office Monday- Friday, 9am-4pm. Transcripts will not be available for pick up if the office is closed. Please monitor our website for closures.

If you are a student who completed a course through the LSU Office of Distance Learning (ODL) you will not have access to myLSU; however, you can access your transcript through Parchment.

It is your responsibility to ensure the grade has been confirmed by your instructor and posted to the university system prior to requesting a transcript. To verify the status of your grade, please contact LSU Online Distance Learning (answers@outreach.lsu.edu). If an order is submitted before a grade posted, the order will be canceled.

ODL students cannot receive transcripts for in-progress courses. Your course and grade is posted to your transcript for the term in which the course was completed. The term of completion cannot be changed.

If you have questions about the process or encounter difficulty in entering your order, please contact Parchment customer service. Tracking information on orders is available on your Parchment account

If there is a hold on your account that prevents the release of your transcript, you will be contacted by our office.

The Office of Bursar Operations places holds on the release of transcripts of students who are in debt to the University.
