USAR Technical Rescue Specialist
Course Description
This course is designed to provide the participant with information and skills needed to successfully complete the knowledge, skills, and abilities for certification as a Technical Search Specialist. Participants will be trained in area/site assessments, mapping and marking systems, Technical search equipment (audio & video) and field exercises to allow the students live site training in the skills associated with Technical Search Rescue. This course will present a challenging five days. Participants will have the opportunity to practice what is taught through the day and night field exercises. This course is physically challenging with long distances covered in the field exercises in unfamiliar terrain and environments.

FETI 80 hour CBRNE Structural Collapse Technician or FEMA equivalent Structural Collapse Technician course
