Accessibility | LSU Fall Fest

Accessibility

LSU is committed to ensuring that all students are able to fully participate in university events and programs. The organizers of LSU Fall Fest, working with LSU Disability Services, seek to provide accommodations to individuals with disabilities.

If you need specific accommodations, we ask that you fill our out the ADA accommodations request form at least seven (7) days in advance, so that we can make proper arrangements with LSU Disability Services.

Accessible Parking

Accessible parking is available on Tower Drive near Thomas Boyd Hall and David Boyd Hall as well as along Raphael Semmes Road in front of the LSU Student Union near Highland Road. Those who use these spaces should display their LSU parking permit as well as a state-issued disability tag or license plate.

Accessible Entrances

There are sidewalks around the main area of Fall Fest, but Fall Fest remains mostly grassy, particularly around the department, organization, and sponsor booths. The most accessible entrances to the Parade Ground may be off Tower Drive near the flagpole and Memorial Tower, as there is pavement that is flat.

Accessible Bathrooms

There is at least one accessible port-a-let in each bank of portable restrooms at Fall Fest. Additional accessible restrooms are located within the LSU Student Union.

Service Animals

Fall Fest welcomes individuals with service or emotional support animals. Please bring water or food for your animal if needed. It can become very hot at Fall Fest, and there is very little shade. In addition, please come prepared to dispose of your dog’s waste appropriately.
