Tigerland Auxiliary & Leadership Camp

June 23 - 25, 2024 // LSU Baton Rouge Campus

This leadership camp is geared to give high school students (grades 9 through 12 as of the 2024-2025 school year) all of the skills necessary to return to their band programs ready to go for the coming year. Students will work closely with LSU Department of Bands directors and staff to refine their leadership skills, colorguard work, or marching percussion fundamentals.

    *Middle school colorguard participants must be commuters and may not stay overnight.

 

Registration & Cost

Registration closes June 9, 2024, at 11:59 p.m.

There are two student options available (resident or commuter) as well as an option to register as an adult colorguard sponsor (commuter).

  • Resident Student - $375
    • Fee includes tuition, room and board in as assigned LSU dorm, and meals for the length of stay.
    • A separate room key deposit of $20 (cash or check) will be required upon check-in.
    • A fee will also be assessed if a participant has more than 2 lockout requests during their stay.
    • Residents will be housed in a dorm on LSU campus and must bring their own bed linens (twin XL).
    • This option is only available for high school students.
  • Commuter Student - $250
    • Fee includes tuition plus lunch and dinner for the duration of camp.
    • This option does not include overnight housing or breakfast.
  • Colorguard Sponsor - $125
    • This option is for adults accompanying their colorguard team members.
    • Fee includes observation access plus lunch and dinner for the duration of camp.
    • This option does not include overnight housing or breakfast.

An optional LSU visitor parking pass can be purchased for $22 when you register. You will be assigned parking to a specified parking lot. If you are dropping off or picking up participants only, a parking pass is not needed.

If you have dietary restrictions or are unable to eat the meals provided, please plan to bring a packed meal. No special meals will be provided.

Schools registering as a group and paying by school check may reach out to us at bands@lsu.edu for a group registration form and invoice. The form and check must be received by Friday, June 7. For groups with credit card as the form of payment, please follow the link and register each student individually.

  • Monday, June 24, 2024, 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.
  • Tuesday, June 25, 2024, 8:00 a.m. - 8:30 p.m.
