Biography
Dr. LeBlanc has been teaching various courses at LSU since 2005, including but never limited to cultural and linguistic anthropology, a variety of Linguistics courses including Discourse, and English composition for both native and non-native speakers of English. Her research focuses on pragmatics of virtual community building through language use as well as discourse analysis and anthropological linguistics. She attempts to channel Dr. Jill Brody, Dr. Lisi Oliver, and Dr. Michael Hegarty simultaneously, as they were her mentors at LSU but are no longer teaching.
