Gulf Coast Energy Outlook 2026

The LSU Center for Energy Studies released the 2026 edition of the Gulf Coast Energy Outlook (GCEO) on December 10, 2025, providing a comprehensive analysis of the Gulf Coast’s energy landscape and its projected trends for the coming year. The report is authored by Greg Upton, David Dismukes, Tyler Gray, Chris McLindon, Andrew Owens, and Garret Graves, offering insights from leading experts in energy research and policy.

Energy Fundamentals

Held this year from June 23-27 and July 7-11, Energy Fundamentals is designed to provide an overview of the U.S. energy sector, with a focus on Louisiana and the Gulf Coast region. Participants will be exposed to the history, science, and economics of producing and consuming energy.
