Faculty Services

The following resources are available for faculty:

  • The LSU Testing Center provides the faculty a secure, monitored facility for students to take computer-based exams. Faculty typically create a multi-day window exam within which students schedule tests at a time convenient to them.   • Questionmark is a robust test-creation/delivery software that allows faculty to create course assessments and view comprehensive reporting and analytics. For additional information about Questionmark and how to create a faculty account, please visit the Questionmark page.

  • The Office of Testing & Evaluation Services administers placement exams for incoming freshman, and credit by examination for continuing and incoming transfer students. Students who take placement exams/credit by examination have the ability to earn course credit, the score on each exam effects the course enrollment level.   • Faculty who are planning to utilize remote proctoring, please visit the Remote Proctoring page, which includes general information regarding remote proctoring and specific information on utilizing ProctorU.

  • LSU Office of Testing & Evaluation Services (OTES) provides computerized scanning and test scoring services for Scantron (8.5"x11") general purpose scan sheets. For additional information, please visit our Scantron Scoring page.

  • Testing & Evaluation Services, in a partnership with ITS, manages the course evaluation software for the university. For additional information about course evaluations, please visit our Instructor Evaluations page.

  • Students must register to take an exam in Disability Services via the Exam Request Form. All exam requests must be submitted at least three business days in advance.

Students Services

  • The LSU Testing Center provides students free in-person computer-based proctoring for LSU course exams. For more information about how to schedule computer-based exams, please visit our LSU Testing Center - Student Information page.

  • Testing & Evaluation Services administers credit by examination for continuing and incoming transfer students. Students who take credit by examination have the ability to earn course credit, the score on each exam effects the course enrollment level.
