Faculty Certification

OLC is an institutional and professional leadership organization dedicated to integrating online education into the mainstream of higher education, helping institutions and individual educators improve the quality, scale and breadth of online education. It was created to provide opportunities for members and others to secure educational and professional development about online teaching and learning.

The Faculty Technology Center (FTC)

The Faculty Technology Center (FTC) provides IT support, consultations, and innovative solutions to faculty and graduate teaching assistants tailored to their individual teaching, research, and operational needs. Services include workshops and webinars, customized workshops by request, one-on-one consultations, virtual assistance, and events.

2. Press 2 if you are a faculty member (will reach Faculty Technology Center)

3: Press 3 if you are a staff member (will reach Service Desk staff)

4: Press 4 if you are a student (will reach Call Center student staff)

5: All other callers should press 5 (will reach Call Center staff)

Please note that an appointment is requested to best serve all faculty.

All LSU Online faculty are required to complete the Online Learning Consortium (OLC) “New to Online: The Essentials” online workshop.
