The Department of Pathobiological Sciences (PBS) provide academic training in cutting-edged research and technologies in Biomedical Sciences and Molecular Medicine, including microbiology, immunology, pathology, and cancer biology.

Graduate program applicants to the PBS are strongly encouraged to contact faculty members prior to applying to the program; however, it is not required. Students selected for fellowships can complete three lab rotations during their first year before officially joining a lab. Qualified students may be admitted with a defined interest in joining a sponsoring lab whose research program funds the stipend.
