Academic Early Alert System

The mission of the School of Veterinary Medicine's Academic Early Report is to connect students that are, or potentially, confronting challenges that impede their academic success with personnel in the Office of Veterinary Education and Student Affairs who can provide guidance through exploratory advising. This initiative is a proactive retention effort developed to raise student persistence to graduation.

We encourage you to please submit an Early Alert below if you have observed a student display:

• Unusual or excessive absence from a course.
• Failure to submit assignments.
• Notable lack of engagement or participation in class and/or discussion.
• C’s-, D’s, and F’s on assignments that may prevent future success in the course.
