Jessica Wyers

Biography

Jessica Wyers is a second-year doctoral student in the Manship School of Mass Communication. She has her master’s degree from University of Houston-Clear Lake in digital media studies (2017) and a bachelor’s from West Texas A&M University in mass communication with an emphasis in electronic media (2011). She as worked in freelance video production and photography and as a high school instructor, teaching visual graphics and communication. Her research interests are on social media, media literacy, the digital divide, and emerging media.
