WHERE IS EHSA ONLINE SAFETY TRAININGS

The LSU web based training package for laboratory safety works in conjunction with the EHS Assistant (environmental management database) to meet the regulatory based training requirements. The assigned training and due dates can be seen by PI’s from the main EHS Assistant Screen. E-mail reminders of late training are sent out on a monthly basis.

EHSA LAB SAFETY TRAININGS Upon log-in, you will get a list of all the training courses offered by EHS. Courses are assigned based on your department and lab. Please note that you do not have to take all the courses offered. The list is color coded.  Pink indicates that the course has been assigned to you but have not been completed. Blue indicates that the training is required and completed.  White means the training course is offered but not required. 

 

 

FOR PI, WHERE IS EHSA TRAINING RECORDS

PIs have access to all of their students training records. If a student can't access their training records that is due to the student not being approved into EHSA yet. If a PI is in a rush they again can check the student records. Follow images below,

 

 

After clicking the Training Records icon, you will see a list of your students name attached to your liscence. You can click the students name to see what training they have taken and what training they have not taken. The training they have not taken and is overdue will be highlighted red. Additionally, you can print out your students certificates by clicking the print certificate button.
