Latin American Student Organizations
Latin American Student Organization (LASO) is established to promote a sense of community among Hispanic students and bring awareness of the diversity among Hispanic cultures to the LSU community through educational programming, events, and community service as well as support and assist in the acclimation of prospective and new Hispanic students to LSU.
LASO has been the longest established organization, and since 2021 specialized Hispanic student organization targeted to grad students, pre-med students, and those seeking scholarships have emerged.
