Biographical Summary
Dr. Park received her PhD from the University of Minnesota in Human Resource Development (HRD). Her research interests concern organizational culture and behavior, learning and performance in the workplace, leadership, and research trends in HRD and related fields. Her teaching focuses on the fields of instructional design, performance analysis, training and development, and research methods.
Prior to her appointment at Louisiana State University, Dr. Park served as a post-doctoral research fellow at Indiana University, Bloomington. She has received several research awards including a 2016 Awards for Excellence: Highly Commended Paper Award from European Journal of Training and Development and Cutting Edge Awards at the 2011, 2014 and 2016 AHRD International Research Conference in the Americas. In 2017, she received the LSU Alumni Association Rising Faculty Research Award.
Originally from Korea, Dr. Park has spent the last 10 years working with clients in government, non-profit organizations, schools, and companies. As a project manager and team leader, Dr. Park has extensive experience in planning, designing, and implementing diverse educational programs in both face-to-face and online environments.

Current Research
Dr. Park's research centers on organizational culture and behavior, learning and performance in different contexts, leadership, and research trends in human resource development (HRD) and related fields. Her primary research purpose is to provide practical guidelines for enhancing a positive organizational culture, supporting employee development, and resolving performance issues in organizations.
