Meghan Jackson, PhD, ATC, CSCS, is an Assistant Professor of Professional Practice in Kinesiology at Louisiana State University.  In 2008, she earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri in Exercise Science where she was an Athletic Training Student for four years. As a graduate student she was a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer for softball and swimming and diving at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois, where she earned a Masters Degree in Kinesiology. In 2010, Dr. Jackson joined Lindenwood University acting as the Director of the Fitness Center and instructing courses within Health and Exercise Science. In 2012, Dr. Jackson began her doctoral work focusing on clinical anatomy concentrating on biarticulate muscles and using imaging modalities in injury tracking of overhead athletes.  While obtaining her doctorate, she held positions within the Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training as a Graduate Assistant and as Interim Assistant Program Director, as well as Instructor within Kinesiology.
